Didcot Foodbank
This emergency foodbank is a practical, community-based project which helps people who are struggling to feed themselves and their families.
Referrals can be made by any statutory or voluntary agency who has registered with the Didcot Emergency Foodbank. Organisations are issued with vouchers which can then be given to any individual or family in Didcot who find themselves unable to buy food due to hardship.
The foodbank is is situated in Lower Broadway and is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am to 1pm.
Wallingford Emergency Foodbank
Wallingford Emergency Food Bank was setup by Churches Together in the Wallingford Area with the aim of providing emergency food packages to those who most need them. The foodbank operates on a food voucher system whereby a referral agency can assess the need for a food parcel.
Wallingford Street Pastors
Wallingford Street Pastors have served the town since 2011. They go out on Friday nights and other special occasions, picking up bottles, giving out flip-flops and talking to those in need. The street pastors are supported by numerous churches and work closely with the police and local traders.
